Cartagena Maxi is a large-format handwoven iraca palm basket, designed especially for summer and beach days. Its generous size comfortably accommodates a towel, magazines and other essentials, and it includes a large leather pouch that can also be used independently.

The iraca palm is handwoven in Colombia and the piece is finished by hand in Ubrique, Spain.
Includes an independent large-capacity pouch in vegetable-tanned leather, designed to organise your phone, wallet, glasses and other essentials, with enough space for an iPad. It can be used inside the basket, easily transferred to another large-format tote or carried independently as a clutch.
Fixed shoulder handles in vegetable-tanned leather.
Closure with leather ties that allow the volume of the basket to be adjusted.
Base protected with metal feet.

Cartagena Maxi is a large-format piece. Each basket is handwoven in iraca palm, so slight variations in tone, texture and shape are part of the natural character of the material and make each piece unique.
- Exterior: structure in iraca palm sourced from Colombia, handwoven and combined with vegetable-tanned cowhide handles and details.
- Pouch: vegetable-tanned cowhide sourced from one of the oldest and most renowned tanneries in Tuscany. Tanned using natural tannins, the leather evolves with use and develops a unique patina over time.
- Handles: vegetable-tanned cowhide, selected for its durability and its ability to gain character and beauty with use.
- Hardware: semi-gloss gold finish with a vintage effect, with custom MAUSKA components and protective metal feet on the base.
- Traceability: leather sourced from tanneries certified by the Leather Working Group (LWG).

Iraca palm and vegetable-tanned leather are natural materials that evolve with use.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture.
- If exposed to moisture, allow to dry at room temperature and away from direct heat sources.
- Gently clean the palm with a dry cloth.
- Occasionally apply a colourless nourishing cream to the leather areas.
- Store the piece in its cotton dust bag when not in use.
The piece is wrapped in tissue paper and accompanied by a personalised organic cotton dust bag.
Includes a signed authorship card from San Sebastián.
