Founded in 2018 by our creative director Miren Zubiaguirre, Mauska is a handmade handbags and accessories firm in Ubrique, Spain, based in San Sebastian.

"Since I visited my first workshop, I knew it was what I wanted to do. I am passionate about working with leather and what I love about creating handbags is that they are almost like small sculptures.

When I create I always put myself in my clients' shoes, and I think that if they are going to make that investment of money, it has to be in the perfect bag. Of course, it has to carry Mauska´s DNA, but it also has to be functional and withstand the test of time.

The leather is something I focus entirely on; it has to be of high quality and respect all sustainability standards".
